If you're a hardware-focused engineer who enjoys seeing designs through from concept to validated reality, this is a brilliant opportunity to join a highly skilled and supportive Test Equipment Design Team. You'll be working in a collaborative, people-first environment where engineers are trusted, supported, and given the space to build long-term careers while delivering genuinely interesting work., This role sits within a dynamic Test Equipment Design Team, where you'll contribute to the design, integration and validation of test system hardware solutions used across complex product lifecycles.
You'll support the design process from end to end, taking part in design reviews, answering manufacturing queries, contributing to risk reduction activities, and supporting integration and validation work. You'll report into a Technical Lead or Equipment Project Manager and, as you grow into the role, you'll have the opportunity to lead packages of work and manage deliveries that feed into the overall solution.
You'll also be working in an international engineering environment, offering real scope to broaden your technical exposure and build a strong long-term career path.
What you'll be doing
- Supporting hardware design activities across the full development lifecycle
- Contributing to design reviews and resolving manufacturing queries
- Assisting with integration, validation and performance testing
- Supporting environmental and EMC testing during qualification
- Producing clear, structured technical documentation
- Managing small packages of work and supporting delivery milestones
Requirements
Do you have experience in Performance testing?, * Experience as a hardware design engineer within test or complex engineering environments
- Understanding of test needs and techniques across the product lifecycle
- Exposure to design proving and performance testing
- Awareness of environmental and EMC testing during qualification
- Strong technical documentation and reporting skills
- Experience managing small work packages would be a real plus
Security & eligibility This role is open to British Citizens or dual UK nationals with British citizenship. BPSS security clearance will be required following offer stage.
