Job description
For our Automotive Engineering team at the location Hanover-Stöcken, we are looking for a working student (m/f/diverse) starting March 2026. The position comes with a working time of 20 hours per week for at least 12 months and with the following tasks:
- Coordinate ongoing initiatives related to technical and quality requirements management
- Provide day-to-day support to the Automotive Engineering team, contributing to key tasks in product development projects, quality-related topics and OEM submissions
- Maintain and update product-specific data in customer systems to ensure accuracy and compliance with OEM requirements.
- Support customer inquiries by gathering information, preparing responses, and coordinating with internal teams.
- Exchange with R&D on product introduction timings and certification availability to match customer submission windows.
Requirements
Do you have experience in VBA?, * Ongoing technical studies in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Automotive Engineering, or a comparable field of study
- Initial experience in data management
- High interest in process management and automation of processes
- Good technical comprehension of technical data sets
- Experienced handling of complex data sheets with MS Excel and VBA
- Excellent English language skills, both written and spoken
- German language skills are an advantage
- Analytical approach to work and good ability to logical thinking
- Easy comprehension of complex issues
- Attention to detail, strong self-motivation and natural curiosity to look beyond the obvious
- Interest in taking responsibilities and building leadership skills
