Head of Engineering / CTO - Solana (Rust, Web3) -

Our client is seeking a CTO or Lead Engineer with deep Solana expertise to define technical direction, lead engineering efforts, and support the scaling of complex blockchain products. This role blends strategic leadership with hands-on technical involvement and is ideal for someone already embedded in the Solana ecosystem., * Set and own the technical vision, architecture, and engineering roadmap

• Lead and mentor engineering teams while establishing best practices
• Guide system design with a focus on performance, scalability, and security
• Provide hands-on support for architecture decisions and critical builds when required
• Collaborate closely with product and business stakeholders
• Represent the technical function within the broader Web3 and Solana community

Do you have experience in Rust (programming language)?, Required

• Senior engineering leadership experience in a Web3-native environment
• Strong, hands-on knowledge of Solana architecture, programs, and ecosystem tooling
• Deep understanding of DeFi, trading systems, wallets, or protocol-level products
• Proven ability to scale teams and ship in fast-paced, high-ownership environments
• Strategic mindset balanced with practical execution

Preferred

• Previous CTO or Lead Engineer experience at a blockchain company
• Contributions to Solana ecosystem projects or open-source initiatives
• Established network within the Solana or broader Web3 space
