Job description

MANTECH seeks a motivated, career and customer-oriented Quality Assurance Technician to join our vehicle sustainment team in McCully Barracks, Wackernheim, Germany. The selected candidate will provide maintenance support to multiple families of vehicles globally on the Allied Logistics Engineering Capabilities Sustainment (ALECS) program., * Responsible for assisting more senior quality assurance positions and/or performing functional duties under the oversight of more senior positions.

  • Under direction, facilitates development of a quality assurance program and oversees inspections and corrective action plans that meet or exceed maintenance and supply standards.
  • Performs quality assurance for all work performed within assigned mission areas.
  • Inspects work in progress and record observations.
  • Prepares corrective action plans based on data, observations, and reports.
  • Submits recommendations for any required training to improve quality control processes or skills to correct identified deficiencies.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned.

Requirements

Do you have experience in Quality management?, Do you have a High school diploma or GED?, * Must obtain or already have an active Germany/E.U. Work VISA to be considered.

  • Ten (10) years of quality assurance experience.
  • Experience providing administrative support and coordination to a contract, project, or task.
  • Experience preparing and managing correspondence, reports and documents, implementing and maintaining office systems, schedules and calendars, handling incoming mail and other material, setting up and maintaining file systems, collating information, and maintaining databases.
  • Knowledge and experience with Quality Management Systems; experience auditing internal policies/procedures and recommending process improvement initiatives.

  • Ability to successfully pass a Pre-Employment Drug Screening; must possess a Valid Driver's License for the location in which the work will be performed, a High School Diploma or GED, and a Passport valid for at least one year beyond the start date.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Familiarity with ISO 9001 Quality Management standards.
  • Experience performing or overseeing quality assurance for maintenance or sustainment operations involving tactical or armored vehicles.

Clearance Requirements:

  • Must be able to obtain and maintain a Public Trust clearance prior to starting this position.

Physical Requirements:

  • Must be able to balance, bend, carry, crouch, stretch and kneel.
  • Must be able to push, pull, and reach.
  • Must be able to work with computers and CRTs, and type on a computer keyboard.

Benefits & conditions

Important Note: Selected candidates without an ACTIVE German/E.U. Work Visa will be required to work the first 60 days in a Temporary role while obtaining their Visa. Once an E.U. Work Visa is approved, then you will be offered a Full-Time German Contract. If accepted, then you will be subjected to paying German taxes, obtaining German Healthcare, and working within the guidelines of the German labor system.
