Job description

As Manager Financial Planning Systems & Analytics at ASML, you play a key role in shaping financial transparency across a global high-tech organization. Your work enables strong decision-making that supports the development of advanced semiconductor technology used around the world.

In this role, you will be the primary business owner of SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC) and a key contributor to help strengthen financial planning, forecasting, and performance insights. You do this by combining deep finance expertise with scalable planning solutions that support ASML's long-term strategy and operational excellence.

This role sits at the heart of ASML Finance. As Manager Financial Planning Systems & Analytics, you contribute directly to improving how financial data is structured, automated, and used across the company.

In this individual contributor role, you act as a trusted partner to Finance and other stakeholders. You own key planning processes and drive continuous improvement across financial planning and analytics.

You will:

  • Act as the functional product owner and subject-matter expert for SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC) planning and reporting
  • Own and manage the SAC roadmap by defining user requirements, prioritizing enhancements, and partnering with IT on implementation.
  • Design and maintain SAC data models, workflows, templates, and logic, including integration with SAP/HANA/BW.
  • Ensure high-quality planning information for forecasting, long-term financial plan, corporate budgeting, and Monthly Operating Reviews (MOR).
  • Developing performance insights, financial narratives and scenario analysis for senior management forums in close collaboration with business and finance stakeholders
  • Translate financial and non-financial KPI definitions into scalable planning logic with clear governance
  • Identify manual planning activities and drive automation through integrated planning capabilities
  • Collaborate across Finance, IT, and business teams to ensure end-to-end consistency and continuous improvement

Requirements

  • Master's degree in business economics, finance, accounting, or a related discipline
  • 10-12 years of experience in financial planning and analysis, business control, or finance transformation
  • Strong experience with enterprise planning and reporting systems, including SAP Analytics Cloud
  • Experience working with ERP or business intelligence platforms such as SAP BW or SAP HANA
  • Proven involvement in corporate budgeting, forecasting, and financial performance cycles
  • Background in financial modeling, management reporting, and scenario analysis
  • Experience working in a complex, international, technology-driven environment

Working at the cutting edge of tech, you'll always have new challenges and new problems to solve - and working together is the only way to do that. You won't work in a silo. Instead, you'll be part of a creative, dynamic work environment where you'll collaborate with supportive colleagues. There is always space for creative and unique points of view. You'll have the flexibility and trust to choose how best to tackle tasks and solve problems. To thrive in this job, you'll need the following skills:

  • Analyze complex financial data and translate it into clear insights
  • Communicate effectively with stakeholders at different organizational levels
  • Collaborate proactively across Finance, IT, and business teams
  • Structure and prioritize work across multiple planning cycles
  • Drive improvement through a hands-on and solution-oriented mindset
  • Maintain accuracy, reliability, and transparency in financial information
  • Influence change through expertise rather than formal authority
