- Working within a design brief across platforms and languages.
- To produce distinctive content on a variety of platforms.
- To have a thorough knowledge of BBC editorial guidelines and other compliance policies.
- To have an understanding of BBC branding and implementation.
- Be accountable for the quality of your work and ensure it meets intended purposes and is accessible and useable for a diverse user gorups.
- Research and share creative references to inspire and inform projects and stay up-to-date with emerging design trends, whilst continuously developing new skills.
- Strong Project management skills, including delivering to tight deadlines, communicating effectively with stakeholders, and keeping workflows meticulously organised
Requirements
Do you have experience in Unreal Engine?, We're seeking a Junior Designer to join our dynamic creative team. If you love crafting captivating motion content across broadcast design, branding, and digital content, then you'll be excited by what you can create here. With strong fundamentals in layout, typography, and attention to detail you'll help shape high-impact visuals featured on flagship BBC programmes, live events and across BBC platforms - creating motion graphics and animations that spark conversations and elevates our storytelling., * Proficent in Adobe Creative Suite, notably Adobe After Effects
- Desire to learn and develop within a fast-paced enviironment and motivation to contribute to the BBC and uphold its core values
- Creative thinking, curiousity and passion for graphic design
- A compelling portfolio/showreel that demonstrates your motion design skills and craft
- An active interest in design trends and design history
DESIRED BUT NOT REQUIRED:
- Experience with 3D software, e.g. Cinema 4D, 3DS Max, Unreal Engine, Blender. Familiarity with VizRt or other motion graphics tools
- Experience of working in a fast-paced professional enviourment.
- Ability to articulate design decisions clearly to a diverse range of stakeholders.
- Relevent degree or equivalent demonstratable experience in motion design or related field
- Knowledge of broadcast standards for TV production as well as accessibility and usability principles
