What you'll do

  • Drive strategic UX research initiatives for the SAP Signavio suite

  • Identify valuable UX research opportunities for enhancing Signavio's product experience

  • Gain meaningful and actionable user insights along the complete product development lifecycle

  • Partner with Product Managers, Designers and Engineers to mutually drive continuous discovery and make sure that what you learn as a team sticks and directly informs product- and design decision making

  • Enable and empower designers, teams and stakeholders to follow user centric ways of working and encourage use of research

  • Adopt, establish, maintain and evangelize best practices for UX Research and actively seek opportunities to improve processes and methods employed

  • Establish and maintain data driven mindset and practice and guide teams and stakeholders on establishing and using user-relevant KPIs

  • Actively participate with design reviews, offering a researchers' perspective on design decisions and advocating for users' POV in decision making.

  • Gain, maintain and grow a deep understanding of the domain, our customers and our users, their needs and context of work

Requirements

  • Previous experience within agile software development teams and proven goal-oriented mindset

  • Background in B2B / Enterprise tool design / research or/and in data analysis/visualization projects (preferred but not mandatory)

  • Experience conducting user experience / design research for complex domains

  • Working with both quantitative and qualitative data in relation to design research with knowledge in knowing when to apply those methods

  • Handling multiple concurrent studies while proactively seeking research opportunities and consulting with various stakeholders

  • Great communication and storytelling skills

  • Graduate degree in Human Factors, HCI, Design, Cognitive Science, Psychology, Anthropology, or related field (preferred but not mandatory)

  • Expertise in AI tools and emerging trends

  • Fluent communication in English, German is advantageous
