At Volvo Group, you will contribute to the transformation of our company, the transport industry, and society at large.
As a Container Platform Architect, you will play a pivotal role in establishing and maintaining the long-term architecture for application container platform services, ensuring alignment with our target architecture and portfolio roadmap.
You will secure and manage technical standards, drive compliance with corporate directives, and contribute to the development of guidelines, methods, and frameworks for application infrastructure.
Your work will involve close collaboration with internal teams, external partners, and suppliers to ensure that our infrastructure services are robust, scalable, and support the evolving needs of the business.
You will also be responsible for documenting the architecture landscape and participating in the Architecture Office, helping to shape the future of digital infrastructure at Volvo Group.
Requirements
- Solid experience and expertise in orchestration and container technologies, such as OpenShift and AKS.
- Strong knowledge of Azure and AWS, including Azure networking components.
- Experience with Agile development workflows and DevOps tools, such as Azure DevOps and GIT.
- Proven ability to design and manage enterprise-level infrastructure solutions, with strong scripting skills.
- Excellent English communication skills, both written and oral, with the ability to engage technical and non-technical audiences.
- Experience with backup solutions and running databases on Kubernetes.
- Background in application development teams.
- Ability to work effectively in international teams with diverse cultural backgrounds and strong team spirit and a passion for sharing knowledge.
