Job description
As a developer within the Bezoek Schip team, you will design, build, test, and deliver software that enables the seamless coordination of vessel calls in Dutch ports. Our digital services connect shipping agents, terminals, and port authorities, ensuring that all critical information flows securely and efficiently.
You will take ownership of frontend solutions while also contributing to backend development, such as shaping APIs, ensuring data quality, and delivering reliable full-stack functionality. As a Full Stack Developer, you value well-structured, maintainable code and a high-quality user experience. You have thorough knowledge of Angular and TypeScript, and you're curious to explore technologies such as Kotlin, Terraform, and AWS.
A key focus area for the team is the implementation of the European Maritime Single Window environment (EMSWe), a major European initiative that harmonizes how maritime data is shared between member states. You will play a pivotal role in integrating Portbase systems with this new standard, contributing to the future of digital port operations.
Whether or not you already have experience in the logistics or maritime domain, what matters most is your curiosity, technical craftsmanship, and drive to build software that makes a real difference in the logistics chain.

- Current residence in the Netherlands
- Experience in building and maintaining modern front-end applications using Angular and/or TypeScript
- Interest in or experience with back-end development, preferably using Kotlin, Java, or event-driven architectures
- Comfort working with tools like AWS, Terraform, and Docker, or eagerness to learn them
