Job description
SKUU is building a real-time infrastructure platform that connects inventory across multibrand retailers so that products never show as "out of stock" again.
It's a powerful solution to a broken e-commerce dynamic and fragmented inventory that causes lost sales, frustrated consumers, and inefficient supply chains.
By enabling shared inventory between retailers, SKUU allows businesses to sell what others have in stock, in real time. Over time, this will form a scalable cross-border network that changes how inventory flows and lays the foundation for a new generation of retail infrastructure.
The role
You will work closely with the founding team on architecture, data logic, and scalability, building the backbone of a platform designed to scale across markets and categories.
Our current tech lead is a senior engineer with more than 20 years of experience in building and auditing software companies. He is currently focused on getting the MVP off the ground and actively welcomes input from younger talent, as long as technical choices are well-founded and future-proof. You will be mentored directly and learn how to design systems that are secure, modular, and built for growth and exit from day one.
We have not locked any tech stack in yet, but our focus is leaning towards the Microsoft ecosystem, primarily Azure, .NET and C#. Security-by-design and a modular, flexible architecture are key principles in everything we build. This is an ideal moment to influence architectural decisions and help shape the technical foundation of the company.
Requirements
You are analytical, curious, and hands-on. You like to understand how things work beneath the surface and get energy from solving hard problems. You think before you talk, but when you do, it's with purpose.
You're eager to learn, not afraid to experiment, and you enjoy thinking about the why behind what you build. You stay calm when things get tough and even enjoy the challenge of untangling complex issues.
You have a minimal few years of experience in back-end development and feel comfortable designing and improving systems from scratch. You like to understand the bigger picture behind the code and want to see your work translate into real business impact. (portfolio cases required)
