Requirements

Experience working in ZOS Connect EE and DB2 REST, with extensive knowledge in CICS webservices. Development experience using FileAid, Xpeditor, IBM Explorer for z/OS, and Visual Studio. Proficient with SOAP, WSDL, and JSON, with a comprehensive understanding of SOA and RESTful APIs. Experience working with code repositories, bug tracking tools, and wikis. Tools include GitLab, Endevor, JIRA, and Confluence. Knowledge of different security integration patterns such as basic authentication, client authentication (mTLS), and OAuth (JWT). Experience with DevOps and Agile methodologies and associated toolsets and practices, including CI/CD and Jenkins. Desirable Skills / Knowledge / Experience Option 1: Java-Based Skills

Java skill set. Strong foundation in Java, including OOP and functional programming (Java 8+). Familiarity with Spring Boot annotations, configuration, and how it simplifies Spring application setup and deployment. RESTful API development experience. Option 2: Integration & Middleware Skills

Hands-on experience using DataPower appliances. Development experience using XSLT, Gateway Script, and XPath.
