Senior Frontend Engineer - React
Leeds|Hybrid
Salary: Up to £70k DOE.
Fruition IT is partnering with a well-established, private equity owned, tech-first organisation undergoing a major technical transformation. As part of an ambitious growth strategy, they are growing their engineering function to deliver a bespoke, modern software platform that will underpin the future of the business.
This is an excellent opportunity for a Senior Frontend Engineer who wants real influence. You will play a key role in shaping the Front End architecture, driving best practices, and delivering high-quality, scalable solutions. Working within a collaborative, creative engineering environment, you will have the autonomy to make technical decisions while mentoring and supporting junior engineers.
What will I be doing?
- Developing web applications and systems using JavaScript, React and Typescript.
- Define and analyse business requirements.
- Support continuous improvement and integration's to enhance deployment.
- Collaborate with engineers, architects and tested to develop unit code.
- Working in an AWS environment
Key requirements:
- JavaScript development, for at least 5 years.
- Experience with TypeScript and React.
- Experience with NodeJS.
- Experienced in application architecture principles
- Ability to structure applications in a solid saleable and maintainable manor
- Understanding of terraform as infrastructure as code.
- Working with REST and GraphQL.
- Agile ways of working (Scrum/Kanban).
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
