Job description

  • Application Development: Design, develop, and maintain applications on the OpenShift platform, ensuring optimal performance and scalability.
  • Pipeline Management: Utilize OpenShift Pipelines to automate the build, test, and deployment processes, enhancing the efficiency of the development lifecycle.
  • GitOps Implementation: Implement and manage OpenShift GitOps practices to streamline application delivery and version control.
  • Helm Chart Management: Create and manage Helm charts for packaging and deploying applications, ensuring consistency and reliability across environments.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with DevOps, QA, and other development teams to ensure smooth integration and deployment of applications.
  • Continuous Learning: Stay updated with the latest trends and technologies in cloud computing and application development, and be willing to learn new tools and methodologies as needed.

Requirements

  • Proficiency in OpenShift: Strong experience in application development using OpenShift, with a deep understanding of its architecture and capabilities.

  • OpenShift Pipelines: Proven experience in setting up and managing CI/CD pipelines using OpenShift Pipelines.

  • OpenShift GitOps: Familiarity with GitOps practices and tools for managing application deployments and infrastructure as code.

  • Helm Knowledge: Solid understanding of Helm for managing Kubernetes applications, including creating and deploying Helm charts.

  • Be able to travel once a month to a specific European city Bonus Skills:

  • Cert Manager: Knowledge of Cert Manager for managing SSL/TLS certificates in Kubernetes environments.

  • ServiceMesh: Familiarity with ServiceMesh technologies to enhance microservices communication and management.

  • GitLab: Experience with GitLab for version control and CI/CD processes. Desirable Experience:

  • IBM MQ: Familiarity with IBM MQ for messaging and integration solutions.
