Job description

  • We are looking for an SAP ABAP Manager to join our international client who are based in the Mannheim area.
  • This is a hands-on leadership role, where you will split your time between managing a talented SAP development team and contributing directly to ABAP projects.
  • The role is Hybrid, (2-3 days per week on-site in the office near Mannheim)

Tasks

In this role, you will:

  • Lead and mentor a team of SAP developers
  • Drive ABAP OO development and modern SAP solutions
  • Support projects in SAP HANA, Fiori/UI5, RAP, and SAP BTP (experience with new technologies is a plus)
  • Promote agile practices, best practices, and the Clean Core approach across SAP initiatives

Requirements

  • Strong ABAP Object-Oriented programming skills
  • Proven experience leading SAP development teams
  • Hands-on experience with SAP HANA, UI5/Fiori, or SAP BTP
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
