Job description
The Site Operations (SiteOps) team focuses on platform stability, reliability, and operational excellence, ensuring that existing systems run smoothly and issues are resolved quickly and effectively., As a SiteOps Software Engineer, your primary responsibility will be investigating, fixing, and preventing issues in existing production systems. This role is focused on resolving platform defects and removing technical debt.
You will work on bugs, incidents, and platform stability improvements, partnering closely with Development, DevOps, and Architecture teams to ensure reliable, high-quality systems. This role is ideal for an engineer who enjoys problem-solving, root-cause analysis, and working close to production environments.
What You'll Do
- Investigate and resolve production bugs and incidents across existing platforms
- Analyse root causes and implement permanent fixes to prevent recurrence
- Work with architects and senior engineers to define technical solutions for defects
- Build, test, and deploy fixes in line with engineering and operational standards
- Create and execute unit, integration, and regression tests related to bug fixes
- Participate in code reviews with a focus on quality, stability, and maintainability
- Support incident resolution in collaboration with SiteOps, DevOps, Security, and Development teams
- Improve monitoring, logging, and operational practices to reduce future incidents
- Contribute to documentation and operational knowledge sharing
Requirements

3-5 years experience supporting or developing existing web applications using C# / .NET

Strong understanding of C# (.NET Framework), ASP.NET MVC, and REST APIs

Experience working with production incidents and defect resolution

Good understanding of microservices-based systems

Familiarity with Docker and Kubernetes (operational level)

Experience with testing practices related to bug fixing and regression prevention

Comfortable working in incident-driven environments

Fluent in English Nice to Have

Experience in SiteOps, SRE, or Production Support roles

Exposure to observability and logging tools (e.g. Dynatrace, AppInsights, New Relic)

ITIL or incident management experience

Experience working in distributed, international teams, Agile Scrum Development, Code Reviews, Collaborating, Customer Service, Engineering Instruments and Tools, Microsoft .NET, Programming Languages, Solutions Development, Technical skills
