Job description

We're building a modern insurance platform with a PHP-based back office system and a customer-facing website including quote & buy. The core platform is already well underway, and we're now hiring an in-house Senior Full Stack PHP Developer to take technical ownership, complete launch delivery, and lead post-live development - including an exciting AI roadmap.

This is a hands-on role for someone who enjoys shipping real features, integrating systems, and improving reliability.

What you'll be working on (pre-launch)

Connecting the full platform end-to-end (front end + CMS + back office)
Improving back office workflows and internal tools
Delivering integrations (e.g. Firebase, medical screening provider, reporting, marketing consent)
Adding and improving unit + feature tests
Ensuring security, performance and reliability for launch

Post-live roadmap (high impact, including AI)

After launch you'll help evolve the platform, including:

Customer login / portal
Multi-scheme support
CRM migration + integration
AI Quotes (help automate and improve quoting/underwriting decisions using internal rules + data)
AI Knowledge Hub (internal assistant for staff: product rules, underwriting guidance, policy wording, FAQs and operational help)

You don't need to be an "AI researcher", but you must be comfortable building production features using APIs, data, and strong engineering practices.
