Job description
At Unity Trust Bank, we're proud to be bold in our ambitions, straightforward in our approach, inclusive in our thinking, and guided by integrity and collaboration in everything we do. We believe that banking should serve the common good-and that starts with understanding our customers deeply and acting on what matters most to them. Guided by these values-and our commitment to Consumer Duty-we ensure our relationships deliver fair, transparent, and sustainable outcomes for our customers.
We're looking for a detail-driven and collaborative Test Analyst to join our Development function. You'll be responsible for ensuring the quality, stability and accuracy of all new developments released into our live banking and digital applications.
What You'll Be Doing
- Plan, prepare and execute functional and non-functional testing to agreed timescales.
- Create clear test cases and test plans based on business requirements.
- Report testing progress, risks and issues promptly and accurately.
- Support UAT, working closely with business teams and developers to resolve defects.
- Review supplier specifications to ensure they meet business needs.
- Assist with reproducing reported faults and testing fixes, including regression testing.
- Provide support and training to operational teams during system changes.
- Contribute to process improvements across testing and development cycles.
Requirements
- Knowledge of banking operations, regulatory considerations and payment/telephony systems.
- Strong analytical and numeracy skills.
- Ability to communicate clearly with technical and non-technical colleagues.
- A collaborative approach and a focus on delivering great customer outcomes.
- Adaptability and a positive attitude toward change.
A great Test Analyst doesn't just find issues - they protect the customer experience, strengthen operational confidence, and help deliver change that works first time. If that sounds like you, this role offers the chance to make a real impact across our banking and digital platforms.
