Data is at the heart of our decision-making, and we're looking for an exceptional Head of Business Intelligence to lead our BI function, transforming reporting, analytics, and data-led strategy across our business.
Reporting into the Commercial Finance Director, you'll be responsible for transforming reporting, enhancing analytic capabilities and ensuring key stakeholders have access to the actionable insights that drive our business performance.
Your Journey as the Head of BI:
- Build a clear BI strategy that supports Lithia UK's priorities and sets a strong direction for the team
- Lead, coach and develop the BI team. Set standards for communication, quality and delivery
- Be a trusted advisor to key stakeholders across our operational & central teams, understanding their unique challenges and translating these into actionable data solutions
- Own the BI reporting suite and ensure outputs tell a simple, reliable and consistent story
- Drive engagement with Power BI by designing visually compelling dashboard that bring data to life
- Foster a culture of self-service BI. Empowering teams with the training, tools and confidence to harness the power of analytics independently
- Work closely with IT and data engineering teams to ensure the data used in reporting is accurate, consistent and well structured
- You'll be the driving force behind your team, igniting their motivation and providing expert coaching to ensure targets and goals all exceeded whilst fostering a collaborative work environment
- Establish KPI's that measure the success of BI initiatives and ensure analytics contribute to business growth and efficiency
- Collaborate with Lithia's US counterparts to align BI practices, ensuring a seamless integrated approach that drives consistency
Requirements
Do you have experience in SQL?, * A track record of successfully leading and developing a Bi, analytics or reporting function
- Advanced proficiency in Power BI, with hands-on experience in dashboard design, DAX and report automation
- Deep understanding of business finance, performance reporting and KPI's, ensuring data-driven decision making at every level
- Strong experience working with SQL and data modelling
- Exceptional ability to engage and collaborate with senior stakeholders
- A proactive, solutions-focused mindset that thrives in a fast-faces and evolving environment
- Experience within the automotive or retail sectors is desirable but not critical
