Job description

  • Optical System Design & Calibration: Apply strong fundamental Optics skills to the design and integration of high-performance imaging systems. This includes hands-on experience with lens selection, sensor alignment, and characterizing image quality. Expertise in thermal cameras (FLIR/LWIR) and executing the precise Calibration.
  • System Design & Validation: Develop, design, and create production-ready drawings for our advanced multi-domain and sensor camera systems.
  • Production & Quality: Track and manage the Component life cycle and contribute to the Production process automation.
  • Tooling & Communication: Manage Requirements engineering and track progress.

Requirements

  • Deep Optics Expertise: Proven, in-depth knowledge of Optics principles, especially in the context of imaging and sensor systems. (3+ years experience)
  • CAD Proficiency: Familiarity and working experience with CAD (preferably Creo PTC).
  • Systematic Approach: Proven experience in Requirements engineering and quality assurance processes, specifically related to hardware.
  • Project Management Tools: Comfortable using Jira/Confluence for project and documentation management.
  • Thermal & Fluid Simulation: Experience with Simulation of heat management and CFD (Computational Fluid Dynamics) to ensure hardware performance and longevity under various operating conditions is a big plus.
  • Technical Drawing: Ability to create production-ready drawings and specifications.
  • Quality Management: Experience with ISO 9001 quality standards and processes.

Overtime
