Tasks
- Design and operate OpenShift environments, especially in Azure.
- Enhance CI/CD solutions and engage in DevSecOps practices.

- OpenShift & Container Platforms: You design, develop, and operate OpenShift environments - ideally in cloud environments like Microsoft Azure - and actively shape our container strategy. This includes especially Red Hat OpenShift on Azure as well as other Kubernetes-based platforms if needed.
- DevOps & Platform Services: You further develop automated infrastructure and CI/CD solutions, contribute your experience in DevSecOps topics, and actively participate in architecture and technology decisions.
- Teamwork & Collaboration: You work closely with colleagues from engineering, regularly exchange best practices, and support knowledge building within the team.
- Customer Projects & Implementation: You take technical responsibility in customer projects - from requirements analysis through design and implementation to operation - and work closely with sales and vendor partners, e.g., in pre-sales phases (RFP, RFQ).
- Professional Development: You help to further develop our engineering standards, share your knowledge (e.g., in internal workshops or whitepapers), and are a sought-after sparring partner for technical questions.
Requirements
- Degree in IT or similar, with 3+ years in OpenShift platforms.
- Proficient in IaC tools like Terraform and Ansible.
- Strong automation skills with Bash or Python knowledge., * Education & Experience: You have a degree in IT or a comparable technical qualification and bring at least three years of experience in building, operating, and further developing OpenShift platforms - ideally in cloud environments, preferably on Microsoft Azure.
- Infrastructure & Configuration as Code: You work confidently with IaC tools like Terraform, Ansible, or Pulumi and use them to build repeatable and scalable infrastructures.
- Automation & Interfaces: You have solid knowledge in automating infrastructure with Terraform, Pulumi, or Ansible, are experienced with Bash or Python, and familiar with DevSecOps principles in OpenShift and cloud environments.
- Certifications: You hold a current OpenShift certification, for example as a Red Hat Certified OpenShift Administrator (EX280) or an equivalent qualification. A further certification such as Red Hat Certified OpenShift Architect is desirable - or the willingness to obtain it soon.
- Monitoring & Security: You know common observability and SIEM tools like Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, or comparable solutions.
- Network Understanding: A solid understanding of network concepts - such as protocols, firewalling, ingress/egress concepts, or network topologies in cloud environments - rounds off your technical profile.
- Language Skills: You communicate confidently in German (at least C1 level) and have good English skills - both written and spoken.
