Job description
- Act as an expert in development projects to assess performance risks and define mitigation plan
- Develop and extend monitoring and benchmarking tools
- Accountable for the resolution of performance issues
- Extend the knowledge base and develop internal competencies
- Support Performance Test Engineers in the development of tools to execute performance and load tests
- Scalability assessment of the architecture of a product or a customer environment
- Define the system resource requirements
Requirements
Do you have experience in Software development?, * Degree in Computer Sciences, Software Engineering or similar scientific subject; or a comparable experience
- 5+ years experience in software development
- 2+ years experience in Performance Engineering and/or System Engineering or Site Reliability Engineering
- Understanding all levels of the system architecture (hardware, operation system, network, Java, databases, etc.)
- Strong SQL tuning know-how and database design
- Ability to fully understand Java code and architecture
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- In-depth knowledge of tools and techniques for analyzing and benchmarking operating systems, application/algorithm performance
- Effective teamwork and excellent interpersonal skills
- Fluency in English
