Job description
Deliver quality, understandable code by learning and implementing defined coding best practices
Refactor and restructure the code base with the support of Principal and Senior team members
Provide Tier II support for assigned applications
Recommend enhancements, optimizations and improvements of assigned applications
Follow specifications and work on new application features
Write Unit Tests and/or Integration Tests to support all coding changes
Work closely with Principal and Senior team members for mentorship and to and work through issues
Mentor Junior team members, preparing them for added responsibilities and duties
Provide exceptional customer service to internal and external customers within company guidelines, regulatory obligations and SLA's
Collaborate and provide regular reporting and updates with key stakeholders across the Cover-More Group
Requirements
Do you have experience in Web services?, Experience as a .Net Developer
Strong working knowledge of Microsoft .Net technologies (C#, Web API) and Microsoft SQL Server
Experience of working with TFS, Git or other similar source code repositories
Experience working as a full stack developer
Experience of developing with front-end web application frameworks, such as Angular/React/Blazor - desirable
Experience developing SOAP/WCF Web services - desirable
Strong communicator with the ability to convey information and resolve user issues
Ability to prioritise and manage workload, ensuring efficient handling of user inquiries
