JUNIOR SYSTEMS ADMINISTRATOR (UNIX) (NATO SECURITY CLEARANCE)

They're looking for a Junior Systems Administrator to join an extremely long-term project, in which you will have a chance to learn from the best and experience completing an exciting long-term project, all whilst growing personally and professionally. You will also get to work with and teach your more junior colleagues., * You will assist with Unix/Linux system administration

• You will support and operate a Kubernetes/Rancher-based container platform
• You will contribute to monitoring, logging, alerting, and documentation
• You will work under established IT service management, security, and operational processes, * You can enjoy an extremely long-term project, with all of the luxuries of a stable, growing company
• You can work for a mid-sized company - no bureaucracy, efficient processes, and plenty of opportunity for you to grow
• You can join the close-knit team on fun event days e.g., Oktoberfest
• You will be able to help out and train your more junior colleagues, or receive the training yourself

Do you have experience in UNIX?, * You have C1+ English language skills and have/are eligible for NATO security clearance

• You have good knowledge of Unix/Linux systems
• You have an understanding of networking fundamentals (e.g. DNS, load balancing)
• You have experience working with ticketing systems in structured IT environments
• You are familiar with air-gapped deployments
• You have familiarity with container security tools and best practices

Desired Skills:

• You have a Splunk Admin/Architect certification
• You have knowledge of ITIL
• You have a relevant degree
