Job description

As a Software Engineer, you'll contribute to the Delivery Platform-our collection of products and services that support the delivery of major programmes, including those funded through overseas development aid, to help advance our Enterprise customers.

In this role, you'll design, build, and refine software that meets real user needs. You'll write clean, secure, and well-tested code, using a test-driven approach to create resilient solutions. Alongside this, you'll champion Agile and Lean practices, uphold compliance and security standards, and support junior colleagues through coaching and guidance.

Requirements

Do you have experience in System design?, You'll be operating at practitioner level across key technical areas such as software engineering, modern development practices, and user-centred design. You should also have a working understanding of systems design. More details on our technical capability expectations can be found here.

You'll have hands-on experience building web applications and services, including APIs, and you'll keep up to date with current software development methods and tooling.
