Job description
As a Business Analyst for Article Master Data, you will be the guardian of the our client's "Single Source of Truth." Your mission is to design and govern the lifecycle of article data-from the initial creation by the Maisons to its distribution across global supply chain, retail, and financial systems. You will act as a strategic bridge, ensuring that the high-quality data required for luxury craftsmanship and client experience is accurately reflected in our client's digital core., * Data Governance Design: Lead the definition and implementation of global data governance policies, ensuring data consistency, accuracy, and completeness across all luxury Maisons.
- Functional Configuration: Perform "hands-on" functional configuration within SAP MDG (Master Data Governance) and MDM modules to automate and streamline data creation workflows.
- Structured Data Lifecycle Management: Manage the end-to-end article lifecycle, including the definition of attributes for jewelry, watches, and fashion, ensuring alignment with international regulations and tax requirements.
- Requirement Engineering: Collaborate with Maison product leads to translate complex artisanal product structures into technical data models and validation rules.Data Integration & Quality: Design and monitor data distribution interfaces, ensuring that master data is seamlessly synchronized with downstream ERP modules (SD, MM, FI/CO) and e-commerce platforms., * Opportunity to collaborate with a global leader in the luxury retail industry within a high-performance, international environment.

Requirements
Do you have experience in Sales?, Do you have a Master's degree?, * SAP MDG/MDM Expertise: Deep functional knowledge of SAP MDG-M (Material/Article) and general SAP MDM principles.
- Data Modeling: Advanced skills in designing structured data models and managing complex attribute hierarchies in a multi-Maison environment.
- Integration Awareness: Strong understanding of how master data impacts sales, logistics, and financial reporting modules within SAP S/4HANA.
- Agile Toolset: Proficiency in Jira for managing data-related backlogs and Confluence for maintaining the central Data Dictionary.
Soft Skills
- Multicultural Communication: Excellent professional interaction skills; ability to align diverse stakeholders on a single data standard across different countries and cultures.
- High Autonomy: A self-starting professional with a methodical approach to managing large-scale data projects and governance frameworks.Conflict Resolution & Diplomacy: Skilled in mediating between the specific creative needs of the Maisons and the structural requirements of Group Technology, ensuring data integrity without stifling innovation.
Language Requirements
- English: Mandatory. Full professional proficiency is required for all technical governance and global coordination. French: A very good asset. Highly valued for direct interaction with Maison production leads and headquarters in French-speaking regions., * University degree in Information Systems, Business Administration, or Data Science.
- 8 to 12 years of professional experience in Master Data Management or Data Governance, preferably in the luxury or premium retail sector.
- Proven track record of configuring SAP MDG in large-scale international environments.
- Analytical mindset with extreme attention to detail and a passion for data excellence.
