DevOps Engineer

• Define and adhere to DevOps standards while overseeing daily operations
• Ensure targets are met in a positive and diverse work environment for clients
• Take responsibility for the availability, performance, resilience, and security of the core platform and infrastructure

• Design, build, and maintain our Cloud Infrastructure, optimizing for cost, security, and performance

• Ensure security best practices are followed for AWS resources, including IAM policies, encryption, and network security

• Proven experience as a Senior DevOps Engineer with a minimum of 3 years in AWS
• Hands-on experience with AWS services such as EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, VPC, IAM, ECS, ECR, and CloudFront
• Proficiency in Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform
• Experience with CI/CD tools like Jenkins and Bitbucket
• Knowledge of containerization and orchestration technologies (Docker)
• Strong scripting and automation skills in Bash, PowerShell, and Python
• Experience with configuration management tools like Ansible, Puppet, or Chef
• Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools (AWS CloudWatch, Prometheus, Grafana)
• Certified AWS Solutions Architect associate or equivalent experience
• Strong knowledge of Linux operating systems, including security features like iptables and routing tables
• Knowledge of Windows operating systems and associated security features
• Good knowledge in network engineering to manage VPCs and Security Groups within AWS
• Flexibility to work outside normal working hours as required
• Flexibility to travel between core sites for service implementation and support
• Ability and desire to learn new technologies and develop new skills and certifications
