Azure Infrastructure Engineer

We are currently seeking an experienced Azure Infrastructure Engineer to join our client's team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing, maintaining, and optimising Azure-based environments while ensuring performance, security, and operational excellence. This is a hands-on role suited for someone with strong technical expertise and a proactive approach to problem-solving., * Collaborate with development and operations teams to optimise system performance and scalability.

• Monitor and manage Azure resources, including virtual machines, storage, networking, and related services.
• Perform routine maintenance, updates, and patching to ensure system security and stability.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to Azure services and hosted applications.
• Implement and maintain backup, recovery, and disaster recovery solutions.
• Ensure compliance with organisational security standards and industry best practices.
• Provide technical support, documentation, and guidance to end-users and internal stakeholders.

• Proven experience in Microsoft Azure infrastructure management.
• Strong understanding of networking, virtualization, and Azure security concepts.
• Proficiency with Scripting and automation tools such as PowerShell, Terraform, and Azure CLI.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively within cross-functional teams.

Azure Infrastructure Engineer £450 per day via Umbrella - 6-month contract - Eastleigh Hybrid - SCC Flex Contract
