Shopify Developer

• In this role, you will oversee the development and implementation of custom Shopify solutions for our clients, ensuring high-quality, scalable, and maintainable code. You will lead, mentor, and guide a team of Shopify developers, providing technical direction and ensuring best practices are followed to deliver high-quality projects on time. You will collaborate closely with clients and internal stakeholders to gather requirements, present technical solutions, and offer expert advice on Shopify-related queries. Additionally, you will lead the development of custom Shopify themes and create custom Shopify apps as needed to extend store functionality. Championing best coding practices, you will ensure that development is performed to high standards, including using Git, code reviews, and maintaining clear documentation. Regularly reviewing and optimizing e-commerce websites for high performance and seamless user experience will also be part of your duties. Moreover, you will proactively identify, troubleshoot, and resolve complex technical issues that may arise. It will be important for you to stay current with the latest Shopify features, tools, and best practices and collaborate with designers to bring creative concepts to life on the platform, while also ensuring all deliverables meet quality standards.

• We require a strong proficiency in Shopify's liquid templating language, API integrations, custom app development, and Shopify Plus. You should have hands-on experience with the Shopify ecosystem, including apps, plugins, and third-party integrations. Advanced knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and front-end frameworks like React or Vue.js is expected. Additionally, you should have solid experience with Shopify back-end development, creating custom Shopify apps, and proficiency in integrating Shopify with external APIs and databases. A deep understanding of e-commerce best practices, including user experience, conversion optimization, product catalog management, and payment gateway integration, is essential. We value proven experience in leading development teams, managing resources, and delivering projects to deadlines, along with strong communication skills and the ability to mentor junior developers. You should also possess problem-solving abilities, familiarity with debugging tools, and effective troubleshooting strategies. Proficiency in Git for version control and familiarity with project management tools such as Jira, Asana, or Trello is required. We prefer candidates with experience working in Agile development environments.
