Job description
We're looking for someone eager to grow their frontend development career with us. You'll be working in our office with the tech team, contributing to our energy procurement platform that helps clients manage their energy, track contracts, and view their data and global presence through intuitive dashboards.
You'll work on a variety of projects where your input will make an impact company-wide, including the main portal and internal tools used by sales, marketing and account managers. Your role will give you the opportunity to implement complex data visualisation whilst developing solid frontend fundamentals in a collaborative environment.
Requirements
Do you have experience in jQuery?, Do you have a Bachelor's degree?, * Experience with React (ideally Next.js) and TypeScript, with some experience delivering web applications
- Comfortable with Git for version control and working with others
- Experience working with APIs, handling JSON, XML and similar data formats
- Understanding of frontend development principles, particularly around user experience and dashboard design
Bonus points for
- Experience working with databases and data models through an ORM
- Familiarity with Postman or similar tools for API testing
- Frontend testing experience using Vitest and Cypress
- Knowledge of SWR, caching approaches, optimistic updates, and efficient data fetching
- Experience with design tools like Figma or Adobe Creative Suite
- Familiarity with AI development tools such as Cursor or Claude Code
What we're looking for
- A portfolio or GitHub showing your work with Next.js, TypeScript, and dashboard/web application projects
- Someone keen to learn and grow into an excellent frontend developer
- An eye for design detail and genuine enthusiasm for creating polished, user-focused interfaces, * This role is full time and office based, please only apply if your commute time is reasonable or you intent to relocate to London very shortly and have already committed to doing so. Application for candidates not already based in London may not be considered as we intend to fill this position within the next 2-6 weeks.
