Senior Back-End Software Engineer, Infra

• Maintain, upgrade, and optimize the Rails back-end stack, including dependency management and security improvements.
• Build internal tools, SDKs, and libraries to enhance developer experience and platform scalability.
• Partner with front-end engineers and SREs to support observability, performance, and reliability initiatives.
• Identify and implement in-house solutions to reduce reliance on third-party services and infrastructure costs.
• Contribute to architectural decisions that improve performance, security, and cost-efficiency of the platform.
• Participate in code reviews, knowledge sharing, and mentoring to maintain high engineering standards.

Requirements:5+ years of back-end engineering experience, ideally focused on infrastructure or platform systems.Deep expertise in Ruby on Rails with a focus on infrastructure and architectural improvements.Strong experience with relational databases such as MySQL and Postgres.Proven track record of improving system performance, scalability, and reliability.Comfortable working autonomously in a fast-paced, fully remote environment.Strong alignment with company values and a collaborative mindset.CEFR C2 / ILR 5 English proficiency.Bonus:Experience scaling early-stage products to 1M+ monthly active users.Familiarity with front-end technologies, especially React.Experience building internal tools or SDKs for engineering teams.Demonstrated ability to reduce infrastructure costs through in-house solutions.Benefits:Competitive USD-based compensation ($130,000-$140,000) with equity and annual reviews.Fully remote: work from anywhere in the world.35 days of paid time off annually and paid
