Tasks

• Develop and enhance Cloud target architectures, focusing on AWS.
• Make key architectural decisions, assessing risks and costs.
• Integrate security, compliance, and governance into designs., * Conceptualization, evaluation, and further development of cloud target architectures with a focus on AWS - from the initial idea to productive use.
• Responsibility for architecture decisions, including evaluation of alternatives, risks, costs, and long-term operability.
• Systematic integration of security, compliance, and governance requirements in architecture, design, and implementation.
• Architectural control of implementation in close collaboration with engineering, DevOps, and platform teams.
• Structured moderation of architecture workshops and reviews with business units, IT, security, operations, and external partners.
• Ensuring non-functional requirements such as scalability, availability, resilience, observability, and cost control.
• Active contribution to the consulting business, e.g., through participation in proposal phases, client presentations, methodology development, or professional coaching.

• Experience with AWS and proven architecture design skills.
• Strong communication in German (C1) and English.
• Ability to convey complex technical concepts clearly., * Communication in German (at least C1) and English is confident and professional., * Experience in government or other regulated environments, where security, traceability, and clean documentation play a central role.
• Deep knowledge in multi-cloud approaches, cloud landing zones, or organization-wide governance models.
• Additional technical depth, e.g., in Kubernetes (EKS), API management, or event-driven architectures.
• AWS certifications (e.g., Solutions Architect, Security, DevOps) or comparable qualifications.
• Familiarity with agile methodologies (Scrum, SAFe) or classic project methods (e.g., HERMES) in a client context.
