We are transforming our business by driving the industry norm and challenging ourselves, fostering a culture of internal and external collaboration, and building on our unique engineering capabilities to optimize existing and create new products and solutions for our customers that cater to real mobility needs., As an Application Manager in our CORE Team SAP FI-CO Cluster, you will play a key role in maintaining and optimizing our finance-related SAP applications. Your responsibilities will range from overseeing master data governance to supporting global finance processes and ensuring smooth SAP deployments. You will work closely with the Accounting Excellence team and other stakeholders to manage financial structures and improve system performance.
Governance & System Management
- Maintain and oversee the Chart of Accounts (CoA) as a key advisor in collaboration with the Accounting Excellence Department.
- Define and manage daproh accounts in the master data governance system (GMDS) and ensure correct mapping to SAP@Kons accounts.
- Set up and manage new companies, cost and profit centers, and their hierarchies in GMDS.
- Ensure Financial Statement Versions (IFRS and country-specific) are correctly configured and maintained.
- Govern changes to internal business partners and other sensitive financial data.
Deployment & Project Support
- Provide expertise during SAP project phases, ensuring governance standards are upheld.
- Support teams after Go-Live, helping with stabilization, improvements, and training for finance users.
- Assist in system optimization and help resolve issues in finance applications.
Finance Process Optimization & Training
- Support month-end closing activities, troubleshooting reporting issues in SAP@Kons.
- Conduct training sessions to help local teams gain confidence and autonomy with SAP solutions.
- Work closely with the consolidation team to evaluate new requirements and their impact on the ERP system.
Requirements
Do you have experience in SAP S/4HANA?, * SAP Knowledge: Expertise in SAP FI-CO and ideally experience as an SAP consultant in a consultancy company; familiarity with logistics modules (MM, SD, PS, PP) is a plus. Experience in SAP S/4HANA implementation is highly valued.
- Finance & Project Management Background: Solid understanding of finance-controlling processes, ideally with hands-on experience in a corporate finance role. Good knowledge in project management, including leading project execution and global steering of Core Finance.
- Analytical Thinker: Ability to break down complex problems, identify root causes, and find effective solutions.
- Strong Communicator: Capable of explaining technical topics in an understandable way and supporting non-technical stakeholders.
- Decisive & Proactive: Able to challenge business requests when necessary and provide guidance for best practices.
- Languages: English is mandatory; German would be beneficial.
