Junior QA Automation Engineer

The Junior QA Automation Engineer is responsible for supporting the QA team by executing defined test cases and learning the fundamentals of Common Criteria compliant security testing. This entry-level role involves debugging software products through systematic tests and maintaining documentation of test results to assist in the modification of software., We are looking for a Junior QA Automation Engineer to launch their career in high-security technology. Working under the mentorship of senior experts, you will assist in the execution of platform-level testing and contribute to existing test code bases. You will ensure quality computer integration into the overall functions of our security products. WHAT YOU WILL DO

• Execute Tests: Debug software products by executing specific security test plans and monitoring automated scripts as defined by senior team members.
• Maintain Documentation: Maintain documentation of test results and assist in preparing technical appraisals to support approval authorities.
• Support & Learn: Consult with development engineers and senior QA to learn Common Criteria standards and assist in the resolution of problems.
• Contribute to Code: Write simple scripts and contribute to existing test code bases using established patterns, utilizing AI tools to assist in writing basic code snippets.
• Collaboration: Participate in stand-ups and communicate status updates clearly to the team.

Do you have experience in Python?, * Experience: 0-2 years (Junior level coding experience or relevant degree).

• Skills: Familiarity with Python, Java, or Kotlin. Exposure to testing concepts.
• Mindset: Eager to learn, able to follow technical instructions, and interested in security.
• Language: Fluent English is mandatory; German is helpful.
