Android Engineer

• Collaborate daily with a talented cross-functional team of Software Engineers and Product experts to shape and deliver outstanding features for millions of users.
• Take ownership of the entire development lifecycle, from influencing initial design and architecture discussions to ensuring a smooth release.
• Champion a user-centric approach, delivering value incrementally and ensuring every update enhances the customer experience and improves app resilience.
• Write elegant, high-performance, and reliable Kotlin code.
• Uphold our high standards for code quality by conducting thoughtful code reviews, providing constructive feedback, and championing our team's coding conventions.
• Tackle the exciting challenge of international expansion, helping us launch and scale our Android application in the UK and Spanish markets.

Do you have experience in Software development?, * Proven expertise in native Android development, with strong proficiency in Kotlin, the language our app is built with.

• Hands-on experience with the modern Android ecosystem, including dependency injection with Dagger/Hilt, asynchronous programming with Coroutines, and testing with Espresso/Mockito.
• Proficiency in building robust app architectures using Android Jetpack components like ViewModel, Room, and WorkManager.
• Experience with Jetpack Compose for building modern, declarative UIs.
• Familiarity with essential development tools, including Git for version control and Gradle for build automation.
• Strong English communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary team, * Knowledge of GraphQL (and the Apollo GraphQL client).
• Basic knowledge of Arrow and functional programming paradigms.
• Experience with multi-module Android projects.
