Job description
We are looking for a senior Software Architect who can set technical direction, lead through influence, and drive architecture decisions across the entire company. This role sits at the intersection of technology strategy, architecture excellence, and engineering leadership. You will work with senior engineers and engineering leaders across multiple teams and locations, shaping how we design, build, and evolve our platform.
The team you'll be a part of You will be part of our Technical Enablement Team and will work very closely with our Director of Engineering who is also defining a global reference architecture. The Technical Enablement Team will take part in all the strategically important changes and initiatives across our engineering group. This includes a mix of hands-on work when implementing new features, technologies or similar while keeping the strategic focus and aligning this across teams. You will work with highly skilled and top of the class engineers and we expect you to be one as well!.

- Define and evolve the company-wide architecture and technology vision
- Establish clear architectural principles, standards, and reusable building blocks
- Drive adoption of these standards across teams through collaboration-not mandate
- Act as a key contributor to global reference architecture initiatives
Leading and influencing at scale
- Guide and mentor 50+ engineers across multiple teams and tribes
- Support senior developers and tech leads in making sound architectural trade-offs
- Act as a trusted advisor for complex, cross-team initiatives
- Influence change without formal authority
Enabling scalable execution
- Ensure successful execution of large, cross-team technical initiatives
- Improve platform scalability, stability, and maintainability
- Define pragmatic governance where needed, without slowing teams down
Growing people and capabilities
- Assess technical and leadership skills of senior engineers
- Advise on learning, development, and training needs
- Support hiring of senior technical roles in collaboration with People & Culture

Requirements
Do you have experience in Scalability?, * Proven experience developing complex software solutions and delivering high-quality software systems, preferably SaaS services
- Proven architecture design & documentation experience
- Proven track record of re-architecting existing systems in a successful way
- Excellent knowledge of modern programming languages like C#, Python, Java
- Deep experience with REST APIs and documentation of REST endpoints
- Experience with Cloud Native development and microservices architectures
- DevOps experience: CI / CD, automated pipelines, Infrastructure as Code, Containerization, Kubernetes.
- Ability to drive change and influence without authority
- Excellent presentation and data visualization skills. You're comfortable reporting and presenting to senior leadership as well as to development teams.
- Fluent English (reading, writing, speaking)
This will make you stand out
- Very good knowledge of cloud platforms like Azure & GCP
- Experience with the Objectives and Key Results (OKR) framework is a plus
- Experience with AI-enabled development
