- Implement and integrate new algorithms and maintain production-ready cryptography code in Rust, C/C++, Golang with secure cryptography APIs
- Analyze state-of-the-art attacks and implement side-channel mitigations
- Participate in peer code reviews
- Research, document and educate on new/existing cryptographic algorithms
- Help deploy, monitor, and tune the performance of our software
- Analyze existing designs
Requirements
Do you have a Doctoral degree?, Fortanix is looking for a Cryptography Software Engineer based in Eindhoven, North Brabant, Netherlands with at least 3+ years of experience in Cryptography. The ideal person will have experience developing in Rust, C/C++,and/or Golang with a track record of delivering quality software., * At least 3+ years of professional experience as a backend software engineer with contributions to cryptography
- Hands on programming experience in Rust, C/C++ and/or Golang
- Hands on experience working in Linux environment
- A PhD in Cryptography or a related field, or equivalent training or work experience
- You currently reside in the EU and have a valid EU work permit
Preferred Technical And Professional Expertise
- Have Security experience (Crypto, Key Management, PKI)
- Familiarity with git, containers, orchestration tools, NoSQL databases
