Job description

Develop, test, and deploy scalable web applications using front-end technologies such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Angular, React, Vue.js, and TypeScript.
Design intuitive user interfaces (UI) with a focus on user experience (UX) principles and responsive web design.
Implement server-side logic and APIs using frameworks such as Node.js, Django, ASP.NET, Ruby on Rails, Spring Framework, or PHP.
Manage databases including MySQL, PostgreSQL, Microsoft SQL Server, MongoDB, SQLite, or Oracle; optimise queries and ensure data integrity.
Integrate third-party services and APIs following RESTful or SOAP protocols; utilise GraphQL where applicable.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams using tools like Jira and Trello to plan sprints and track project progress.
Utilise version control systems such as Git or SVN; manage code repositories on platforms like GitHub or GitLab.
Automate deployment pipelines with Jenkins or Ansible; implement DevOps practices for continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD).
Conduct unit testing and debugging to ensure robust application performance across browsers and devices.
Maintain documentation of codebase architecture and technical specifications; participate in code reviews to uphold coding standards.
Stay abreast of emerging trends in web development including SEO optimisation, web security best practices, and accessibility standards.

Requirements

Do you have experience in Web services?, Do you have a Bachelor's degree?, * Proven experience in front-end development using HTML5, CSS3 (including SCSS), JavaScript frameworks such as Angular, React or Vue.js.

Strong back-end development skills with knowledge of Node.js, Django or ASP.NET MVC architecture.
Proficiency in database management systems including MySQL, PostgreSQL, Microsoft SQL Server or MongoDB.
Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure for hosting and deploying applications.
Experience working with RESTful APIs, Web services (SOAP), GraphQL and integrating third-party APIs.
Knowledge of containerisation tools like Docker; experience with Linux environments is advantageous.
Understanding of system architecture principles and application development lifecycle (SDLC).
Ability to write clean, efficient code adhering to best practices in software development.
Strong organisational skills with experience using project management tools like Jira or Trello.
Excellent problem-solving skills with an analytical mindset; ability to work independently or collaboratively within a team environment.
