Job description
- Develop, test, and deploy scalable web applications using front-end technologies such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Angular, React, Vue.js, and TypeScript.
- Design intuitive user interfaces (UI) with a focus on user experience (UX) principles and responsive web design.
- Implement server-side logic and APIs using frameworks such as Node.js, Django, ASP.NET, Ruby on Rails, Spring Framework, or PHP.
- Manage databases including MySQL, PostgreSQL, Microsoft SQL Server, MongoDB, SQLite, or Oracle; optimise queries and ensure data integrity.
- Integrate third-party services and APIs following RESTful or SOAP protocols; utilise GraphQL where applicable.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams using tools like Jira and Trello to plan sprints and track project progress.
- Utilise version control systems such as Git or SVN; manage code repositories on platforms like GitHub or GitLab.
- Automate deployment pipelines with Jenkins or Ansible; implement DevOps practices for continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD).
- Conduct unit testing and debugging to ensure robust application performance across browsers and devices.
- Maintain documentation of codebase architecture and technical specifications; participate in code reviews to uphold coding standards.
- Stay abreast of emerging trends in web development including SEO optimisation, web security best practices, and accessibility standards.
Requirements
Do you have experience in Web services?, Do you have a Bachelor's degree?, * Proven experience in front-end development using HTML5, CSS3 (including SCSS), JavaScript frameworks such as Angular, React or Vue.js.
- Strong back-end development skills with knowledge of Node.js, Django or ASP.NET MVC architecture.
- Proficiency in database management systems including MySQL, PostgreSQL, Microsoft SQL Server or MongoDB.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure for hosting and deploying applications.
- Experience working with RESTful APIs, Web services (SOAP), GraphQL and integrating third-party APIs.
- Knowledge of containerisation tools like Docker; experience with Linux environments is advantageous.
- Understanding of system architecture principles and application development lifecycle (SDLC).
- Ability to write clean, efficient code adhering to best practices in software development.
- Strong organisational skills with experience using project management tools like Jira or Trello.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with an analytical mindset; ability to work independently or collaboratively within a team environment.
