Senior PHP Developer

As a senior software developer, you will take an active role in our development team, ensuring we deliver against our roadmaps commitments to time and quality. Ensuring consistency of delivery across support, maintenance and projects in technical terms whilst ensuring we deliver an agile development service to our business and clients.

Do you have experience in Software development?, You will have at least 8 years of relevant commercial software development experience. You will be experienced in web technologies and especially PHP as a core language - you will be comfortable with both front end and backend. You will be just as willing to roll up your sleeves to develop, as mentor team members, peer review code and support design of new solutions.

Ideal Skills:

• PHP Experience - ideally with a framework (CodeIgniter)
• Web Technologies/Frameworks - HTTPs/ JSON/ Bootstrap/ XML/ CSS/ HTML/ JQuery/ JavaScript
• API development experience - REST ideally - developing and consuming APIs
• Database Design/Use - SQL based
• AGILE development methodology implementation/understanding
• Flexible, willing to learn/teach, great communicator, organised
• Payment Experience - all payment experience including FX and banking API's beneficial, * commercial software development: 8 years (required)
