Job description

This is an exciting opportunity to join our growing Data Protection Team. You will be responsible for managing subject access requests from start to finish. Including ensuring legal deadlines are met and data is redacted and exemptions applied in line with the Data Protection Act 2018. Reporting to the Deputy Data Protection Officer, you will provide support to them and the Data Protection Officer in delivering compliance with the Data Protection Act 2018. Your impact in the role: You will manage your own workload meticulously; logging and acknowledging subject access requests, locating and compiling the documentation, redacting data in line with the Data Protection Act 2018 and responding to the customer. You will also respond to general data protection related queries. You will be the contact for internal and external customers, and other stakeholders for the subject access requests that you manage. You will need to build key relationships with teams around L&Q and to work collaboratively with them. What you'll bring:

  • Working knowledge of the Data Protection Act 2018.

Requirements

Do you have experience in Organizational skills?, * Strong experience in a data protection role.

  • Strong experience managing and responding to subject access requests.
  • Strong administrative experience in a fast paced environment.
  • To be meticulous and have a keen eye for detail.
  • The ability to multi task, manage own workload and meet tight deadlines.
  • Strong organisational and planning skills.
  • Good communication skills across various disciplines; phone, email, letter etc.
  • Experience of dealing with stakeholders at different levels.
  • The ability to work collaboratively within and across teams.
  • Experience of using MS Office suite: Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint.
