Job description
Whitehall Resources require a Security Architect to work with a key client on a 6 month initial contract. *This role will involve on site work in Manchester 3 days per week. *Inside IR35. Security Architect Responsibilities
- Develop end to end security architecture for POC, MVP and production rollout.
- Define secure user journeys for remote password reset and identity verification.
- Ensure alignment to enterprise security standards, compliance and threat modelling outputs.
- Produce architecture artefacts (HLD, LLD, patterns, data flows, integration specs).
- Guide engineers during build and validate controls in testing.
Requirements

Strong background in IAM, MFA, IDV, and secure authentication flows.

Experience designing solutions using Microsoft Entra, Verified ID, Azure AD B2C/B2B, or equivalent.

Knowledge of biometric verification platforms (Onfido).

Experience producing high quality architectural documentation.

Security architecture certification (SABSA, CISSPISSAP or equivalent). Desirable Experience

Financial services architecture experience.

Experience with privacy-preserving identity approaches.
