Data Management Lead Location: London, Norwich, Bristol or York Salary: Regional: circa £100k / London: circa £110k This is a 12-month fixed term contract Are you someone who loves to work collaboratively with Data Product Owners to deliver enterprise-grade data management solutions? A bit about the job: We are recruiting for a Data Management Lead who will work with colleagues across the Aviva Group to implement Data Management best practice as part of the programme of integration of a major acquisition. You will be a key member of the programme team, having the scope and responsibility to drive the implementation of data management services, standards and best practice. Skills and experience we're looking for: Practical experience of data management disciplines including Data Quality, Metadata Management, Reference Data Management, Data Retention and Privacy Management; DAMA CDMP would be an advantage but not essential Broad understanding of the mechanics behind managing the data lifecycle and experience with the definition of metadata content standards and data models would be an advantage Demonstrable experience successfully implementing systems such as Informatica EDC/Axon, Alation, Collibra, Atacama or similar in a multi-cloud environment, particularly utilising AWS services and Snowflake Proven ability to influence and manage stakeholders and peers, particularly those who may not be data literate Practical knowledge and experience of data management technologies, preferably within the Financial Services sector What you'll get for this role: Our purpose - with you today, for a better tomorrow - is a promise we make to our colleagues
