Role OverviewWe are seeking a Lead Performance Tester / Performance Engineering Lead to provide end-to-end ownership of performance testing and performance assurance across complex digital services.This role acts as the performance authority, accountable for defining strategy, leading delivery, and providing formal recommendations on production readiness.Key ResponsibilitiesOwn the performance testing strategy for assigned services or programmesLead volumetric analysis, performance risk assessment, and test scopingDefine entry/exit criteria, success measures, and acceptance recommendationsProvide performance engineering expertise, including architectural inputLead and coordinate load, stress, soak, and scalability testing activitiesOversee integration of performance testing into CI/CD pipelinesAnalyse results and lead root-cause analysis of systemic performance issuesProduce and sign off Test Completion Reports and readiness assessmentsEngage with senior stakeholders, architects, and
