Job description
- Lead the end-to-end design, development, and deployment of Workday integrations using Workday Studio, PECI, Core Connectors, REST/SOAP APIs, and EIBs.
- Build and manage integrations not only with Workday but also with external platforms such as Greenhouse and other third-party HR systems.
- Use Terraform to develop automation scripts and cloud infrastructure components that support scalable and secure integration workflows
- Implement CI/CD pipelines using Git and DevOps tools to streamline code versioning, testing, and deployment.
- Work with security frameworks including OAuth 2.0, SFTP, and certificate-based authentication to ensure compliance and data protection.
- Collaborate with functional teams to understand business processes and translate them into robust integration solutions.
- Troubleshoot and optimize performance of integrations in both sandbox and production environments.
- Provide technical guidance, best practices, and mentoring to other developers.
Requirements
- Proven experience with Workday Studio and at least one functional module (e.g. HCM, Payroll, Compensation, Recruiting, Absence, Performance) is a must.
- Experience with API-based integrations using REST, SOAP, and JSON/XML.
- You're familiar with CI/CD pipelines, version control systems, and modern DevOps practices.
- Familiarity with Workday Security Configuration and OAuth setup.
- Experience managing SFTP connections, certificates, and encryption protocols.
- Exposure to AWS, API Gateway, or Azure Functions.
- Experience supporting global Workday deployments.
- Workday Integration Certification (Studio or Core Connector) is a plus.
- Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills.
- You communicate fluently in English, and German language skills are a welcome bonus.
