The Red Hat Defense sales team is seeking an experienced Senior Account Solution Architect to join our team influencing the growth and development of Red Hat's business In this role, you will be a technical sales lead managing and developing the Ministry of Defense, the defense prime partners and defense industrial base. In this role, you will be responsible for driving our customers and partners to create new business and IT transformation using Red Hat services and solutions integrated with the partners. Identify how Red Hat's portfolio integrates with their technical and business objectives and, from there, to progress from the solution proposal and evaluation stage to its adoption as the preferred platform choice for their business. As a Senior Account Solution Architect, you'll demonstrate the ability to connect technology with measurable mission business value for the defense industry. You should also have a demonstrated ability to think strategically about business, products, and technical challenges to drive revenue growth and Red Hat awareness together with our partners. What You Will Do: Support the aligned sales team;
- Continuously grow and expand knowledge of Red Hat's offerings and solutions;
- Guide customer interaction and critical business relationships, grow your network, and work on your ability to motivate executives.
- Facilitate the technical relationship between Red Hat and our customers;
- Discover opportunities and present technical solutions to customers aligned with their business goals;
- Provide technical sales support and architect solutions that include Red Hat's offerings, consulting services, and training;
- Build relationships with customers and partners to gain an extensive understanding of their business and IT environments, allowing the sales team to best match Red Hat's offerings and solutions to address customer needs and requirements.
- Support customer meetings through presentations like whiteboarding or formal presentations, demonstrations, and explanations of the value of Red Hat's technologies and architected solutions;
- Guide engaging conversations, customer relationships, and architecture solutions that result in sales growth;

Requirements
Do you have experience in Sales?, * Strong domain expertise in the UK defence space, with proven experience with defense partner eco system and armed forces
- Able to conduct and articulate complex Application and Solution Architecture discussions leveraging microservices cloud architecture, and cloud-native practices;
- Good knowledge of and experience with DevOps; knowledge of cloud architectures in general;
- A proactive approach to building technical relationships with our partners.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English;
- Good documentation skills and experience presenting to the defense industry
- Exceptional organizational and planning skills with the ability to work on multiple projects at the same time.
- Solid interpersonal skills with the ability to work well in a team environment;
- Relevant clearance to support client engagements.
- Experience with container platforms like Kubernetes
