Job description
- Design, implement and maintain Java-based services and applications using modern frameworks and libraries.
- Write clean, maintainable and well-tested code following Test-Driven Development (TDD) and DevOps practices.
- Build and consume RESTful APIs and integrate with other microservices.
- Develop solutions using cloud environments such as AWS and Azure.
- Collaborate with product owners, testers, UX designers, architects and other engineers to deliver features on time and to quality standards.
- Support continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines.
- Contribute to technical decisions, architectural discussions and help improve engineering practices across teams.
Requirements
- Strong experience in Java (8+) development.
- Experience building architecture on cloud-based platforms like AWS or Azure.
- Familiarity with Test-Driven Development (TDD) and continuous delivery.
- Experience working with SQL and NoSQL databases (eg, Postgres, MySQL, MongoDB).
- Proficient with APIs, RESTful services and microservices.
- Comfortable working in agile delivery teams.
