Job description

The Data and Decision Sciences (DDS) team is at the core of Bauer Media Audio with a mission to leverage data as a strategic enabler across our nine European markets. Our goal is to provide trusted, actionable insights and robust data solutions that empower business growth, enhance audience engagement, and drive operational efficiency. The DDS team operates as a collaborative, cross-functional unit that bridges the gap between data and business strategy, delivering solutions that align with our organizational goals and market needs. We are structured to support our stakeholders with a combination of centralized capabilities and localized expertise, ensuring that data drives value across the entire organization. We see data not as a support function but as an integral business partner that collaborates across all domain and markets expertise to deliver impactful business outcomes., We are looking for a curious, analytical, and detail-oriented Data Analyst to join our collaborative cross-functional data team. You will work closely with stakeholders, ensuring that data is leveraged effectively to improve operations, customer experience and business outcomes. The ideal candidate has experience turning complex datasets into clear insights, enjoys working cross-functionally, and is passionate about using data to solve real-world commercial problems, supporting decisions across Sales, Operations and Finance. Your role: Data Analysis and Reporting

  • Analyse revenue, market trends, and operational performance data to spot growth opportunities and risks
  • Create and maintain reports for revenue and transactional data to allow for self-serve across our Markets
  • Present findings and actionable insights clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences
  • Continuously seek ways to improve data collection and analysis techniques

Data Visualisation & Storytelling

  • Build, maintain, and evolve dashboards using tools such as Power BI and Tableau
  • Communicate insights clearly to technical and non-technical audiences through concise reporting and presentations
  • Automate reporting pipelines and contribute to a self-serve analytics culture across teams

Problem-Solving & Strategic Support

  • Translate business questions into analytical approaches, working collaboratively with stakeholders across product, marketing, content, and commercial functions
  • Contribute to A/B testing, targeting strategy development, and pricing/ROI analysis
  • Support analytics requirements for key projects across competitions, subscriptions, and inventory management

Requirements

Do you have experience in Tableau?, * Strong analytical skills and proficiency in Tableau

  • Experience working with operational data
  • Excellent communication skills-able to explain complex insights simply.
  • Understanding of business strategy, operational processes, and market dynamics
