Job description

The Senior Technical Application Specialist (TAS) will serve as a domain expert for strategic Commercial Lending platforms (especially ACBS and associated upstream/downstream ecosystems).

What you'll do

  • Act as the primary SME for ACBS covering core modules such as customer, facility, loans, fees, transactions, funding, accruals, repayments, and Datamart/reporting.

  • Lead design, gap analysis, parameter configuration, and impact assessments for enhancements, migrations, and production fixes.

  • Provide expert input on lending products including Term, Revolving, Short-term loans, and Agency/Syndication structures.

  • Own delivery of complex, multi-region programmes including platform upgrades, decommissioning, application modernisation, and regulatory programmes.

  • Lead workstreams, ensuring strong governance of risks, issues, dependencies, and cross-team alignment.

  • Lead end-to-end delivery of commercial loan migrations from legacy systems into strategic lending platforms across 30+ global markets.

  • Define TOMs (Target Operating Models), data mapping, payment structures, credit risk alignment, and local regulatory/tax requirements (GST/VAT/withholding).

  • Oversee cutover planning, rehearsals, and go-live readiness.

  • Drive ACBS version/infrastructure upgrades (e.g., Windows, Oracle) ensuring operational resilience and mitigation of obsolescence risks.

  • Collaborate with architecture teams on API frameworks, strategic cloud-aligned patterns, and data/report consolidation initiatives.

  • Coordinate with operations, finance, treasury, compliance, legal, and credit risk teams to define requirements and create design documents.

  • Manage vendor relationships for ACBS and supporting infrastructure partners.

  • Provide 3rd-line SME support for complex production incidents and recurring business queries.

  • Drive continuous improvement, standardisation, and simplification - including consolidation of BO reports (e.g., 300 * 30 - 40).

Requirements

  • Strong Commercial Lending SME experience with deep ACBS product knowledge.
  • Solid understanding of credit risk, market risk, RWA/Liquidity reporting, operational processes, and reporting for lending products.
  • Knowledge of Lansa tech and the related issues. Experience in debugging and resolving Lansa related application problems.
  • Extensive experience delivering multi-country lending transformations
  • Strong capability bridging technology, operations, and business strategy.
