Job description
As a BI & Data Solutions Architect, you will play a central role in shaping and scaling the digital data foundations across our EMEA and APAC regions. Working closely with production, warehouse, IT and global Digital partners, you will help build the structures, models, and reporting capabilities that turn operational data into meaningful, actionable insights. This role is both strategic and hands-on. You will architect data solutions, define reporting standards, guide local teams, and ensure the region stays aligned with Newell Brands' global data infrastructure., * Data Architecture & Modeling: Develop and maintain scalable data structures (PostgreSQL, MSSQL) and build semantic models and reporting templates in Power BI to support regional operational needs.
Operational BI Delivery: Design intuitive, user-centric dashboards and reports across production, OEE, maintenance, and other site-level use cases to ensure clarity, adoption, and consistency.
Stakeholder Collaboration: Partner with site teams, functional leads and IT stakeholders to align data requirements with business processes and real operational challenges.
Azure & Corporate Alignment: Support integration and governance of regional data pipelines within Newell Brands' corporate Azure infrastructure, including Fabric F64 and Databricks.
Documentation & Training: Provide guidance, documentation and structured onboarding for analysts and site teams, including remote and on-site BI training to strengthen capabilities across EMEA/APAC.
Data Governance & Innovation: Ensure data pipelines are structured and well-documented for upward integration into corporate platforms, while contributing to early adoption of emerging technologies such as Machine Learning, Large Language Models (LLMs) and AI-driven analytics.
Requirements
Do you have experience in Scalability?, Experience: Solid 5+ years of experience in BI, data architecture or analytics engineering.
- Technical Skills: Strong proficiency in Power BI, SQL (PostgreSQL and/or MSSQL), and semantic modeling.
- Azure Know-How: Familiarity with Azure data services (e.g., Fabric, Databricks) is a strong advantage.
- Domain Exposure: Experience working with manufacturing, operational or industrial data is a plus.
- You: Collaborative, eager to learn, exploring and engaging with evolving technologies as well as having the ability to balance long-term scalability with real-world, actionable delivery.
