Job description
We are looking for an experienced System Administrator - Identity & Access Management (IAM) to strengthen our Swiss security team. In this role, you will manage identity and access systems, safeguard our cloud infrastructure, and ensure compliance with Swiss data protection laws and international security standards. You will contribute to projects across the organisation, support third-line escalations, and play a key role in enhancing our IAM processes and technologies.
- Administer and maintain IAM platforms and cloud-based access control solutions.
- Oversee the full user lifecycle: provisioning, de-provisioning, and access reviews.
- Document and improve IAM processes, ensuring compliance and efficiency.
- Provide detailed design documentation and operational support for complex technical issues.
- Respond to security incidents and support vulnerability management.
- Collaborate with cloud architects, compliance officers, and cross-functional teams to integrate IAM with applications and services.
- Propose and implement improvements that strengthen security controls and add tangible value.
- Foster a collaborative and supportive team culture.
Requirements
- Proven experience with Active Directory/Azure administration and user account management and permissions.
- Solid understanding of IAM concepts, authentication, and authorisation solutions.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms and IAM tools.
- Knowledge of incident management and service operations.
- Awareness of Swiss data protection regulations and international security frameworks.
- Strong communication skills, customer service mindset, and fluency in English (German or other languages are a plus).
- Ability to manage escalations independently and work effectively across teams.
- Experience with ServiceNow and PowerShell is preferred (training provided if required).
- Team player committed to knowledge sharing and mentoring less experienced colleagues.
- A degree in IT, Cyber Security, or Business Information Systems; relevant certifications (CISSP, CISM, CRISC) are a plus.
