Job description

Due to its constant growth NewCold is looking to expand the IT Department with someone who will contribute to design and building our organization's future Windows-based infrastructure. Your skills to design Windows server technologies through automation with redundancy, security, auditability and reliability are key for this role.

We expect in-depth knowledge of: Scripting, Automation, and Microsoft Windows Server related technologies such as SQL and Clustering. Knowledge of Ansible, Chef or Puppet is a must as well as overall knowledge and insights on Azure, Azure Local and related hybrid enablement technologies.

Requirements

Do you have experience in Windows?, Do you have a Bachelor's degree?, * HBO or Bachelor's degree

  • 4-10 years relevant working experience for this role
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and articulate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
  • The ability to adopt new technologies fast
  • Proven experience as a Windows DevOps Engineer or similar role, with at least 7 years of hands-on experience in managing Windows-based infrastructures
  • Strong knowledge of Windows Server operating systems (2019, 2022, 2025)
  • Knowledge of Microsoft SQL Server and clustering
  • Excellent troubleshooting skills and the ability to analyze and resolve complex system issues
  • Knowledge of multiple interacting technology stacks such as networking and Linux
  • Proven track record in automation design and execution
  • Strong verbal and written communicator in English (any other European Language is a plus)
